Take advantage of Open Studio time at Studio Arts to work on exhibit
pieces for the upcoming Open Studio Exhibit
May 13 to June 13

From Still to Life
Utilize Studio Arts to paint still lifes. Artists may set up their own still
life arrangement and leave it up without the worry of dismantling it for a
period of four weeks. Artists may use props, fabrics, lighting, and other
studio equipment during open studio time.

Join Leslie Straniero's workshop "From Still to Life" to learn more about
painting still lifes.

The Human Figure

Join Figure Drawing Open Studio on Monday evenings  from 7pm to
10pm. Exhibit a finished piece in the media of your choice.

Allen/Slaski Studio 807
Of People & Places

During the week there are several opportunities to paint from live
clothed models. Whether you prefer portraits or full body or small
studies, we encourage you to DO IT! Work in the medium of your choice.

And for those who wish to paint landscapes, please consider joining
Open Studio Sessions to work on your painting.

from 1pm to 6pm
Who can enter?
Anyone who attends Studio Arts Open
Studio Sessions may participate.

What can be entered?
Any work done during Open Studio of
six hours or more. Work may be done
outside of Open Studio.

How many pieces?
Participants may hang one piece per
gallery.

Details of 2D piece
Size should not exceed 36"X26"
vertical or horizontal.

Piece should be ready for hanging. We
can help you with matting & framing.

Cost
Free to Friends of Studio Arts
Members. $10/piece non members
                        
We suggest a donation of $5/piece to
be given to David Allen who gives his
time to hang the work professionally.
