after beginning the renovations.
Paint Dancing is the act of painting (using squeeze bottles) and dancing on a large canvas.
Amber and Corey are sisters who study dance at Southold Dance Theater, South Bend, IN.
These two young ladies performed three dances for our entertainment and delight. This canvas
is a work in progress. New Year's was its third opportunity to be dance painted upon.
Cenica Sanders is a young poet
who should be congratulated for
being so brave to read his poems for
our(mostly over 40) enjoyment.
Lynn Patrick recited one of Shakespeare's sonnets while
Jacqueline Dickey performed on her Native American
flute. This was an impromptu performance and
unrehearsed!
Ruth Andrews led us in a Janis Joplin
sing-a-long:
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a
Mercedes Benz...
Lea Goldman treated us to some
traditional Jewish songs on her
accordion.
To top off our Artful New Year's Eve, guests Paste-Painted on canvas
using acrylic and irridescent paints.
The canvas measures 6ft X 8ft.
